Trío Desconcierto

As from 2016 Trio Desconcierto  is offering  different and innovative concerts for its  audience  which  are  reflected in a fresh and original performing identity.

Subtlety, energy, dynamics and colors are part of its interpretation thus creating unique  and elegant repertoires full of sensibility with a thematic unity and a  defined aesthetic character.

Through their   interpretations Trio Desconcierto gets a special and unique connection with its audience. . 

As chamber music lovers its members focus their work on two main axes: original compositions and their own adaptations on a wide variety of styles. Subsequently, Trío Desconcierto through its performances achieves an special and unique connection with their   audience. 

 

In this  search of creating different and innovative repertoires  Trio  Desconcierto  works and collaborates with different artists such as: Pablo Bemsch (tenor), Facundo Villagrán (tenor), Adriana Arana (soprano), Joan Hernàndez (actor), Juanma Casero among others.

 

Besides above, Trio Desconcierto has held tribute  concerts for some  important music figures such as Enrique Granados (2016), Violeta Parra (2017), Astor Piazzolla (2021).

 

On  the other hand, there is their    range of thematic concerts they have shown throughout their career: World Dances, Catalan Popular Songs Latin American Prints, Catalan Music of the 19th & 20th Centuries, Songs and Dances, Piazolla   100, among others.

They  have also  offered  “Romantic Sounding Paintings”, a musical pedagogical proposal.

 

The varied repertoire and fresh air delivered by Trio Desconcierto  in its interpretations has caught the attention of important festivals and rooms   in Barcelona, Andorra and Argentina.

 

As a musical  Group Trio Disconcierto has also performed at the Oberture Concert of the Cultural Setmana of the Comú de Andorra La Vella (2016), and the Art Llobet Festival of Barcelona (2016, at the Emili Pujol Festival of Les Garrigues (2017) , at the Narciso Yepes Festival of Andorra (2017), at the September and Salas de Buenos Aires (2018),   in Argentina  and many others.

On  (2021) Trio Desconcierto  was  finalist in the Amics Contest of the Romànica Cambra that leads them  to participate on   (2021) at the VI Romànica Cambra Festival. 

 

On February 2022 Trio Desconcierto  released  the show and won  the 3rd prize of   Amics Contest of the Romànica Cambra and are presenting the music show D’Ell CANÇONS AMB TREMENTINA.

 

That same year they won the 3rd prize in the Amics Contest of the Romànica Cambra and are presenting the music show d’arrel CANÇONS AMB TREMENTINA.

 

On the other hand, both Trio Desconcierto as well as each of its members work pedagogically in the formation of solo performers, chamber groups and guitar orchestras. On their  trips they make masterclass for students of conservatories and universities such as the students of the guitar cathedral  of the National University of Tucumán.

 

Trio Desconcierto members have   worked and taken classes with outstanding performers in the scope of the guitar such as Guillem Pérez-Quer, Santiago Figueres I Vegara.

David Font Bernet

Born in 1988 in Ordino, Andorra, David Font I Bernet began studying classical guitar in 1997 at the IAEM (Andorra Institute of Musical Studies) under Professor Thomas Preibsch’s tutelage.​

 

Despite his strong interest in plastic arts, audiovisuals, dance and poetry, he finally decided to fully devote himself to music. He began his studies of a Professional Degree at the Conservatory of Badalona.

 

He later graduated from Higher Level of Music at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona with Guillem Pérez-Quer.​At that time he took the opportunity to travel abroad where he attended classes with notable guitarists such as Alex Garrobé, Romilio Orellana and Hopkinson Smith.

 

He met Santiago Figueras at this same Conservatory and after he obtained a degree in Live Entertainment Technical Lighting, he decided to continue improving his instrument studies.

 

​In the course of his career, David Font i Bernet has always continued improving his training as a concert guitarist and soloist by participating in chamber competitions throughout Catalonia.

 

He has also performed at small chapels in different parishes of Andorra, in other emblematic places of Barcelona such as the Palau Dalmases and Nimes Cathedral. For nearly ten years, he has been teaching guitar in several musical schools in Andorra and Barcelona.

Simón Maisano

Living in Barcelona, and born Tucuman, Argentina he studied with Guillem Pérez-Quer at the Conservatorio del Liceo de Barcelona. At the same time he obtained his Master degree in Musicology at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.

 

Since 2012 he has been working intensively as a soloist, playing on different stages in Germany, Spain and South America.​

In Barcelona he has given concerts in the Auditorium ChamberHall of Liceu Conservatory, the conservatory of Badalona Auditoriu French Institute Theatre, Theatre Akademia, Santa Gaieta Church, Centre Civic Riera Blanca amongst others. In 2017 he have recorded his first album¨Música Latinoamericana¨ receiving very positive reviews.

 

At the moment he is guitar teacher at Pare Manyanet School and at Escola Musical 91 of Barcelona.​

He also completed courses with the masters Pablo Marquez, Hopkinson Smith, Petrit Ceku, Marco Socias, Ricardo Gallen, Maria Isabel Siewers, Jose Luis Rodrigo and Victor Villadangos  among others.

 

He won the scholarship from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes in Argentina, Nationalscholarship 2008.

He won the 3rd mention in the young performers competition organized by the CFI.

He received the 2nd prize at the First Guitar Competition organized by Argentmúsica 2009 and the 1st Prize in the Young International Competition Category at the 5th International Classical GuitarFestival in Cochabamba, Bolivia (2008).

He won honourable mentions in the 26th, 27th and 28th Selection of Young Music Students Competition sponsored by the Mozarteum of Santa Fe, Filial Salzburg.

Further on he was the winner of a Soloists Competition organized by the Instituto Superior de Musica de la UNT.

Gian Carlo Scevola Espinoza

Born in Viña del Mar (Chile), years later he began studying classical guitar at Izidor Handler Conservatorio Municipal de Viña del Mar under Professor Antonio Rioseco’s training.​

 

He graduated in Arts and Musical Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, where he studied classical guitar with Professor Daniel Díaz and on graduation he obtained a Diploma as First in his Class.​

Afterwards he moved to Barcelona and in 2009 got a “Master’s in Musicology and Music Education” at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Between 2011-2012 he got into Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona and carried out “Postgraduate Studies in Classical Guitar” with teacher Guillem Pérez-Quer.​

 

He has received lessons and attended courses with different teachers such as Hopkinson Smith and Marco Socías among others.

 

Furthermore, he has participated in various competitions and in 2015 won the LLOBET PRIZE of the Barcelona Llobet Contest.​

 

He is currently doing the ”European Official Master in Interpretation of Classical and Contemporary Music” at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, under the tutelage of the Concert performer and guitar professor Guillem Pérez-Quer, while developing teaching activities at the Barcelona Shine School of Guitar.
