Born in 1988 in Ordino, Andorra, David Font I Bernet began studying classical guitar in 1997 at the IAEM (Andorra Institute of Musical Studies) under Professor Thomas Preibsch’s tutelage.

Despite his strong interest in plastic arts, audiovisuals, dance and poetry, he finally decided to fully devote himself to music. He began his studies of a Professional Degree at the Conservatory of Badalona. He later graduated from Higher Level of Music at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona with Guillem Pérez-Quer.

At that time he took the opportunity to travel abroad where he attended classes with notable guitarists such as Alex Garrobé, Romilio Orellana and Hopkinson Smith. He met Santiago Figueras at this same Conservatory and after he obtained a degree in Live Entertainment Technical Lighting, he decided to continue improving his instrument studies.

In the course of his career, David Font i Bernet has always continued improving his training as a concert guitarist and soloist by participating in chamber competitions throughout Catalonia. He has also performed at small chapels in different parishes of Andorra, in other emblematic places of Barcelona such as the Palau Dalmases and Nimes Cathedral. For nearly ten years, he has been teaching guitar in several musical schools in Andorra and Barcelona.
